There’s a word for silk in Vietnamese: lụa. It’s soft to say, and softer to wear. For centuries, lụa has carried meaning, it had been used to dress and honour the body. We’ve been working with this material, slowly and deliberately, to shape something fresh. But the story of FVXO began long before silk touched our hands. In 2012, designer Dame Rashem Alexander made the first pair of shoes. One design, one customer. The idea was simple: make things that last. The early collections were produced in Guatemala, using high-quality leathers, handwoven textiles, and other one-of-a-kind materials, always crafted in close dialogue with local culture and traditional techniques, since culture and connection is really what the brand stands for. As the work grew, so did the name. From Wild Soul Boot Co., to EROS XOXO, and eventually FVXO, the label followed the rhythm of its maker’s path: changing cities, shifting materials, but always grounded in intention. Now, a new chapter begins. Silk adds clarity and a quiet energy that speaks to the body without effort. It listens and adapts to your rythm and feels like heaven. Each piece of this Capsule Collection is handmade in Vietnam, produced in small numbers, cut and finished with care, and designed to carry lightness in feel and spirit.
