THE CROSSROADS
A modern take on But this version has a twist, a journey that starts with a fusion of Hip-hop and ascends into a deep blues romp as the story is told in two parts. The CROSSROADS This Featurette is a modern take on the African-American blues and hoodoo folklore, the crossroads is a mystical meeting place, most famously associated with blues musician Robert Johnson allegedly selling his soul to the devil at the intersection of Highways 61 and 49 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. This version of the story intersects with the Guatemalan folklore character Moximon, where he and the devil team up to decide the fate of FVXO in a dive bar in Guatemala over a card game. FVXO uses a fusion of deep groovy hip hop and stomp blues to tale this age old tale.
